Djehuti Smart at South Grafton High School is a numeracy initiative designed to strengthen students’ fluency and confidence with basic number facts.

The program focuses on quick and accurate recall of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, decimals, and fractions, helping students free up working memory to enable focus on higher-order problem solving and critical thinking.

Students use flashcards, speed sheets, and graphs to challenge themselves, track their progress, and celebrate their improvements in numeracy.

The Run Beyond Project has been running at South Grafton High School for the past two years. Students commit to giving up their own time to complete our program, which is done before or after school. They work towards the completion of a Goal Race of between 10km and a half-marathon in length. But the skills Run Beyond develops are skills that can be applied beyond the finish line, to enable students to succeed with confidence and dedication in any field which inspires them!

Sport plays a big part of our school with numerous opportunities for students to particpate in teams across a multitude of sports. Our Wednesday sport offerings are second to none with all sport capped at $2 for any student. From surfing, ten pin bowling to mountain biking on the school's fleet of bikes, all students can find something to engage in.

Fund Raising activities play a part of our school throughout the year. One of our highlights is the annual Pink Stumps cricket match between the Principal's Eleven and the School Captain's Eleven. A great day for staff and students to come together for a worthy cause in raising money for breast cancer.
